I know Balay Dako has been in the scene for a while so I really have nothing new to offer here. Haha! I’ve always wanted to go there after I’ve seen the place on some people’s posts and the movie “Everything About Her” Hahaha! So, I made sure I had my camera with me when I learned that my family & I are gonna have lunch there. :) The place did not disappoint! It’s so pretty that every corner is picture perfect! Great architecture and design! It’s simple and rustic. It looks unfinished pero maganda parin. Haha! :) And, it has the perfect view of Taal Volcano! :) The food, however, was not what I expected. Considering how much I love Antonio’s, the food here is just okay. It’s nothing special and not something I’m going to be craving for. :) Among all the dishes we ordered (Tapa Flakes, Sisig Na Pusit, Pinakbet, Pancit Ni Antonio and Lechon), the Sizzling Bulalo na Baka was the only one I liked. :) TIP: Go there when they just finished their breakfast buffet (that's at around 11:30 am, I think?). During that time, they're not letting anyone dine at their second floor because they're still cleaning up. It's the perfect time to take pictures because the place is almost deserted! :) #BalayDako #BeautifulPlaces #View #Tagaytay #TaalVolcano #Architecture #Design #food #SizzlingBulalo #Philippines #OnlyInThePhilippines #Blog

Before anything else, I’d like to clarify that this photo was not taken at Causeway Bay but in Harbour City. I am going to share a Causeway Bay story though thus, the title. :) Every time my family and I go to Hong Kong, we usually spend 85% of our stay in Kowloon: Harbour City/Tsim Sha Tsui. Aside from H&M and Granville Street, there really isn’t much there for me anymore so going to HK doesn’t excite me as much as it used to. But, I had a change of heart during our recent trip to Hong Kong. Because Ralph, Pat and Jaq were really there for Sunlife, they were attending seminars and events on most days. So... I was left wandering alone on some days while waiting for Pam & Tito Leo. That was when I enjoyed and felt comfortable at the other side of Hong Kong. :)
