It’s been a while since I’ve shared about my life. If you haven’t noticed my past few blog posts are just about product reviews even though ever since, I have considered my blog as an avenue to share about life, in general.
To be honest, I have lost my interest in blogging for more than a year now. I don’t post as often as I used to even though I get projects more often now than before (I find this weird actually. Haha!). Instead of blogging, I have used that time to find myself… The funny thing is, I still haven’t completely figured things out yet until now. Life is very tricky. There are A LOT of times that I feel lost and there are also moments when I seek answers for so many unanswered questions. But, here’s my takeaway from those experiences and my advice to those who have gone through the same.
1. LOVE YOURSELF. If there’s anyone out there who knows you best, it’s you. You’re the only one who can truly know how amazing you are. You’re the only one who truly knows your worth and what you are capable of. If you start embracing that fact, it will shine through you. :)
In line with this, focus on improving yourself. Keep yourself busy with things that will help you grow as a person. By being so successful and accomplished in life, you’ll realize that you are happy even on your own. Having someone to be with is just an added bonus because you already feel complete even when you’re alone.
Do the things that will make you happy. Don’t bother yourself too much with what other people think because the people who are meant to be a part of your life will love you for who you are and despite of what you can never become.
2. Learn from your mistakes. Everyday is an opportunity for you to become a better version of yourself.
3. Surround yourself with people who won’t make you doubt/question yourself.
Another thing.. This is unrelated to my life realizations, but you can learn something from it. My friend, Tohid, posted this on his instagram stories: “How we choose to react to any situation, positive or negative, determines how we experience that situation in our lives. Nothing was built in meaning. We give meaning to everything that happens to us.” – Nice diba? Our lives become what we make out of it. :)
Recently, I got to taste and experience the new Big Guys Pizza. They reinvented their pizza to improve the quality, taste and service that their customers are gonna get. It was my first time to try Big Guys Pizza so I couldn’t compare it to the old one, but I learned that these are the things they worked on for their new pizza:
1. The Dough - aside from being delivered fresh to their branches daily, they also used 7 quality ingredients to make their pan-crust pizzas.
In my opinion, they did really well on this one. Their crust is neither too thick or too thin so you get the right amount of bread/crust in every bite. This also makes the crust crunchy yet still chewy when toasted. :) — THEIR PIZZAS ARE BEST EATEN WHEN TOASTED! :)
2. The Sauce - Big Guys new signature tomato sauce contains different herbs and spices that make their sauce suitable for the the Filipino taste.
True enough, their tomato sauce tastes more herb-y than just the regular sour tomato sauce. The flavor is good but I wish they could add more to make it more evident.
3. Toppings - They scrapped their previous toppings and changed them to more authentic, superior quality meats. They are now made from real beef or pork with no fillers.
I got their Super Supreme Pizza so that’s the only one I can judge. But, based on my experience, I love the bacon topping the most! :) They were very generous with the olives and mushrooms too! :) Next time I order, I’m getting their ALL MEAT pizza because the photo on their website looks very promising.
Overall, Big Guys Pizza is good esp. for the price of their 36″ pizza, which I think can feed up to 5 families. :) As for the taste, the flavors are not as strong as the other commercialized pizzas you’ve probably tried but, I think it makes it healthier because they’re not as greasy and they taste more fresh. :)
Despite all the changes they made, they retained the prices of their pizza to keep affordable for parties and gatherings. :) They also have a new hotline for all your orders, complaints and suggestions! :)
AND HERE’S A PROMO FOR YOU GUYS TO ENJOY: Call their new hotline 231-1212 and get 10% discount on your orders!!! Promo runs from June 4 - July 4, 2018 only! :)

A few weeks ago, I was lucky to see and be part of the Avon City. They transformed a Hall in The World Trade Center and turned it into The Avon City, where they showcased a lot of their new products. :)
Here’s a quick video of the Avon City and all the games we played while we were there. There was never a dull moment because every booth had their own mini games, which we were all able to participate in.
And here are some of the products that really caught my attention during the tour:
Their new makeup line: Mark. I already shared a lot about it on the video, and I also mentioned some of the interesting make up products I noticed while going through the collection. :)
They also have a wide range of perfumes that you can choose from. :)
Avon’s Kitchen Magik has a lot of super cute kitchenwares that are perfect for modern and millennial spaces because of their cute colors and designs. :) But, this cute SEALER (photo above) really caught my attention. It’s so handy so you can take it anywhere with you! :)
Avon also tied up with Ravelo Komiks Superheroes to create a line clothing, lingerie and jewelry line of Pinoy Superheroes. My favorite is this set of necklace and earrings from the Darna Collection. What a beauty!
Thank you so much for another fun-filled event, Avon!!! :) You guys are amazing, as always!!! :)
