Just in time for Holloween, The Arts Management Program under the School of Design and Arts (SDA), De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde partnered with emegerging theater group TAXI to present the horror theatrical production, MULAGAT, this October 2016. :)
Mulagat, a multisensorial horror theatrical play written and directed by Eric Villanueva Dela Cruz, makes use of Theater-in-the-Dark on some portions of the play, designed to provide an alternative experience to visual bias of watching a play by plugging the audience in complete darkness to stimulate other senses.
The story centers around a graduating architecture student, Nico, who wakes up in the middle of the night to investigate the strange sounds emanating from the hallway outside his condo unit. He stumbles upon a young girl looking for her brother. The tale unfolds in a series of eerie encounters that spirals down uncontrollably, escalating into a spine-chilling revelation.
Okay, I think I’ve shared enough. This seems like a hair raising experience, and it’s a perfect halloween adventure. :)
The play will run from October 7 to 29, 2016 at the SDA Black Box Theater, 6/F Benilde School of Design and Arts Campus, 950 P. Ocampo St., Malate, Manila. For inquiries, contact TAXI Theater at +63 908 485 4983 or firstname.lastname@example.org :) Visit their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/taxitheater for more details. :)

I have a thing for blogging really nice places esp. if they’re new and they’re not getting the attention they deserve. :) Recently, I found the best KTV place I’ve been to so far! The place is clean, modern and homey! Unlike most KTV places that are just dark and gloomy, this one’s bright and well-decorated. :)
Look at that hallway. Literally, napa-WOW ako when I first saw it. Hahaha! :)
This is how their rooms look like. I think this one’s good for 15-20 pax; it’s big, spacious, with comfy seats and good air condition. :)
Isa pang bet ko sa Monkey Mic, nakakaganda ng boses yung sound system and microphone nila. Hahaha! :) And, they have a wide selection of songs that are updated monthly! :)
We were only a group of 8, but we got lucky because we were upgraded to this super big room! :) Really thankful for this too because it was perfect for our Bridal Shower celebration. We had enough space for games, dancing and other activities. :) P.S. Ang ganda ng room noh!!! :)
The Grill Platter! I love the sausage and their bacon wrapped carrots & asparagus (healthy but not really). :D
With my angels & the bride-to-be beside me! :)
Thank you Monkey Mic for the amazing night! It’s now my go-to place for KTV nights. More than a KTV place, you can also use their spacious rooms for other celebrations such as birthdays, bridal showers and small parties/gatherings. :)

This outfit post has somehow gotten lost in my long list of backlogs. Haha! I wore this for my 26th birthday this year so it’s been months already since that day. But if you look at the bright side, at least it didn’t reach ‘till my 27th. Haha!
Because my birthday fell on a weekday, I couldn’t wear skirts or dresses because I had to go back to work after my lunch break celebration with my family. So, for this year I settled for a simple, classic look for my birthday. :) A pair of trousers, a simple silk blouse and heels. You can never go wrong with such basic choices! You just have to choose the right fabric and cuts to make the outfit look less casual. :)
However next time, maybe a more dressy top would be nice as well. Hahaha! :)
