I’ve always wanted to visit Le Petit Souffle’s restaurant and try their food ever since they opened. The super cute restaurant set-up and the instagrammable food are some of the reasons, but the menu sounds delicious too! :) My attention was caught when I saw their Foie Gras Mac & Cheese, but sadly… I was never able to try it after all these years. Ka-lungkot, diba? Ang layo naman kasi ng Century Mall! :) I was so happy when I learned that they opened a branch in SM Megamall! Now, I am also getting invites to try their new dishes. ANG SAYO KO, PROMISE! And, here’s the result of my FIRST MEAL EVER at Le Petit Souffle… Breakfast for Champions (Php 695) - Luscious thick-cut bacon, foie gras, red berry fruit campote and sunny side up egg in a brioche bun, topped with hollandaise and maple syrup! :) There were so much going on in that plate, but everything surprisingly worked so well together. It was salty, tangy, sweet, creamy and flavorful all at the same time. It was literally bursting with flavors! ANG SARAP, BES. CHAMPION TALAGA. :) Pulled Chasyu Benedict (Php 375) - Sautéed pulled chasyu and mushrooms over toasted brioche buns topped with poached eggs, hollandaise and garnished with furikake. I was not able to try this one, but the combination is very unique and promising so I took a photo just to take note of what I could order in the future. :) Unagi Benedict (Php 695) - Japanese Eel (Unagi) over toasted brioche buns topped with poached eggs, hollandaise and garnished with bonito flakes. This tastes like your typical eggs ben but instead of having an overpowering hollandaise sauce, this one is very light and creamy. The addition of Unagi is a unique touch to your usual breakfast meal. :) They have all types of Eggs Benedict there! Aside from the usual ham, they also have offer Eggs Benedict topped with unagi, pulled chasyu and smoked salmon! :) To finish your meal, you can order cakes from The Workshop and pair them with specialty coffee prepared by Yardstick! :)
P.S. For the Mega Eats Sale, all Workshop Cakes will be one 15% off for the whole month of September! :) Le Petit Souffle is located at: 2/F Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall and 3/F Century City Mall, Makati City. :)

There are times in our life when we’re so scared to try new things because we don’t want to get out of our comfort zone. If you’ve been reading my blog, I’m sure you’ll notice that I’ve already mentioned how my life was. It was a routine because I was scared to explore the unknown. I was scared to fail (myself and the people around me) and I was scared to get lost along the way.
Last month, I was lucky to be invited to the launch and opening of the first ever Smile Bar in the Philippines. I didn’t even think twice when I got the invite because I felt like I needed it. I’ve never tried any teeth whitening products before, but I’ve always been tempted to so finally my wish to improve the color of my teeth came true. :) At The Smile Bar, you get to experience a unique dental spa service wherein they put teeth whitening gel on your teeth you let it stay there for 20 minutes per treatment while the LED Plasma Light technology is placed over your teeth to activate the whitening gel. You can do Single, Double or Triple Whitening; each whitening treatments lasts for 20 minutes so if you’re going to take the Triple Whitening, prepare yourself to sit for 60 minutes. :) Don’t worry, they have Wifi, iPad and head phones to keep you entertained during your dental spa experience. :) At the end of the treatment, they’ll put Nano Seal Total+ on your teeth to reinforce the enamel and seal the whiteness of your teeth. With this, you can easily eat colored food right after your treatment without fearing that they might discolor your teeth. :) As for my personal experience, I think it was very unique. When it started with the purple toothpaste and then purple whitening gel, I knew it wouldn’t be like a normal trip to the dentist. The 40 minute waiting to time to finish my double whitening treatment was quite tiresome but the result was worth it. My teeth did whiten, but the most noticeable ones are my canines since they were really discolored and yellow-ish compared to my other teeth before. After the treatment, it’s still isn’t as white as the others but the difference is not as obvious as it was before. :) And look, my teeth are 5 shades whiter after the treatment. Should I have gone for a Triple Whitening to achieve that super pearly white color? :) For the rates, The Smile Bar offers four different packages: Single Whitening(Php 2,999), Double Whitening (Php 4,999), Triple Whitening (Php 6,499) and Year Whitening (12 treatments for Php24,999). Aside from their treatments, you can also avail these Brilliant Smile Teeth Products at The Smile Bar. From left to right: WhiteningEvo Mouth Rinse(250ML) for Php 999, WhiteningBoost Toothpaste (20ML) for Php 649 and WhiteningEvo Toothpaste (65ML) for Php 849. You can buy a gift bag of all 3 products for Php 1,999. :)
The Smile Bar is located at the 2nd Floor, Cluster 2, Uptown Parade (above Denny’s) in Uptown Bonifacio, BGC, Taguig City. For booking appointments, visit: www.the-smile-bar.ph or call 09171485659 or 5412853. :) For more info, you can also follow them on Instagram or Facebook :) |
