Summer heat can be draining and annoying, but don’t let it ruin your vacation. It may be hot and sunny but it’s better than going out when it’s raining. Trust me, I recently went on a trip to New Zealand and we were met by a typhoon there. 3 days of our trip where spent indoors when we could have embraced its wonderful nature and sceneries. So, take this time to travel, start a new adventure or explore the world because you’ll really see it’s true beauty when it’s bright and sunny. :) Complete your look with an equally adventurous nails! Caronia’s current choices are on the gray department, and they’re really not your typical colors. To be honest, I’m really a pastel type of person but I went out of my comfort zone and tried these new colors too! :) Check the photo above for their 3 new shades (from left to right): Break Free (Dark Gray) // Road Trip (Moss Green) // Day Off (Light Gray) // Caronia Matte Top Coat :) I used Road Trip and finished it off with the matte top coat for my NZ trip and here’s the outcome! :) I love how the matte coat toned down the dark shade of green and I’m quite sure I’m going to enjoy using it with just about any shade of nail polish. :)

Gadget cases are usually one the initial purchases after you’ve bought your new electronic device because not only do they protect your new possession, it’s also a way to differentiate it from all the other devices that looks just like it. One’s case usually reflects his/her personality and with it, your new cellphone, iPad, tablet (whatever it may be) would feel more like your own. :) Considering how important these cases are, Beyond The Box is giving a FREEcase OF YOUR CHOICE with every purchase of the iPad Mini 4 or iPad Air 2. :)

No wonder I couldn’t hide my excitement when I was informed that they’re going to have another event. Haha! They do not disappoint! :) For the second episode of the #iAmUrbanBrave campaign, bloggers are once again put under pressure to compete against other bloggers to win their games. Friends kami lahat pero push competitve lahat ng tao! :) For the first game, 2 participants from each team were asked to choose and model items from their store, take a photo, post it on instagram and walk the runway while holding our chosen Urbanize items. Gusto ko pa sana mag-edit ng photo kasi 1 hour talaga yung editing time ng pictures ko, but we were only given a limited time to post so.. here’s the finished product of our team! :) Pwede na bang Urbanize ad? :D The second was a “bring me” + flat lay game. They were mentioning details & uses of stuff and we have to determine which Urbanize item is being described by the host. Honestly, I wasn’t paying much attention because I was editing the photo from the first game kaya wala akong photo nito. Si Michael and Lexi talaga yung um-effort sa game na to. Moral support lang ako. Hahaha! :) And finally, the Mannequin Challenge! We were literally turned into human mannequins for this game!!! All team members have to choose items from the store and do 3 poses on their window display. Brilliant! I wasn’t expecting the challenge to be like that! CONFIRMED: Mahirap maging mannequin. :) Our team won 2 out of 3 games! ACHIEVE!!! Thank you to my teammates: Michael Macalos, Lexi Alvarez, Nick Ronquillo, Maria Hazel Vinluan and Iya Duenas! <3 As a reward in exchange for the pressure (intense yung time limit talaga, promise!), we were able to take home all these wonderful stuff!!!! : First, CABIN ZERO! I’ve been seeing other bloggers using this so medyo nainggit ako. But, I’m inggit no more since I already have my own! :) It’s a lightweight travel bag that’s very spacious! You can wear it as a backpack or you can bring it by holding the top or side handle of the bag so it’s very convenient to carry around. :) P.S. *I’m using my Yellow Popband hair band in the photo above* Next is the Lewis N. Clark Small Expandable Packing Cube that can hold and keep your things/essentials organized inside your bag. At first I thought it was just a normal pack so I was surprised when it expanded while I was playing with the zippers! Super COOL! After it expands, the pack can already fit about 2-3 times more than the items you placed during its original state. :) POPBAND! The cutest from the bunch I got from Urbanize and definitely useful for girls with long hair like me! :) Finally, the Elecom Gadget Pouch is my favorite because it’s really really useful. I hate it when my cords and earphones get tangled up inside my bag or inside a pouch because there aren’t separate pockets that can keep them apart. :) This pouch has a compartment that neatly separates all your gadget accessories! :) Plus points that it comes in a really cute color too! :) So glad we won the first challenge because that’s where I got this!!! Hahaha! :D We also got an inspirational talk from Jay Jallorina - a landscape and cityscape photographer who has made a name for himself by doing what he loves. :) I’ll forever remember him as “Jay Walking” because he mentioned in his talk that he was walking along EDSA taking buwis buhay photos when an MMDA approached him and told him that he is jaywalking; he literally was Jay walking though. Hahaha! :D To see more cool and unique Urbanize items, you can visit their stores at Shangri-La Plaza, Uptown Place Mall BGC, Gateway, UP Town Center, The 30th, Glorietta 3, Venice Grand Canal, The District - Imus, Solenad & Serin - Tagaytay and you can also follow them on Facebook and Instagram: @UrbanizePH! :)
