Before anything else, I’d like to clarify that this photo was not taken at Causeway Bay but in Harbour City. I am going to share a Causeway Bay story though thus, the title. :) Every time my family and I go to Hong Kong, we usually spend 85% of our stay in Kowloon: Harbour City/Tsim Sha Tsui. Aside from H&M and Granville Street, there really isn’t much there for me anymore so going to HK doesn’t excite me as much as it used to. But, I had a change of heart during our recent trip to Hong Kong. Because Ralph, Pat and Jaq were really there for Sunlife, they were attending seminars and events on most days. So... I was left wandering alone on some days while waiting for Pam & Tito Leo. That was when I enjoyed and felt comfortable at the other side of Hong Kong. :) There was a day when Ralph and the others dropped me off at Causeway Bay so I can meet up with Pam while they’re at the seminar. I was there super early because I didn’t want to catch the train alone so I left the hotel with them at 7am. Hahaha! And, I spent more than half of my day walking around Causeway Bay alone. At first it was scary because I was just walking and walking trying to familiarize myself with all the streets so I won’t get lost. After a while, it didn’t feel so bad at all. I actually kinda enjoyed my “alone time”. :) And, what I realized is I like Causeway Bay more than Kowloon! They have a huge H&M, and a few walks away is a 3-4 floored Forever 21 that’s always on a crazy sale. Hahaha! I got a pair of heels in F21 Causeway Bay for only Php450! I’ve been eyeing that pair ever since and it’s being sold in Manila (even after I got back from my trip) at Php1,800! Diba, ang saya? :) Aside from the really good alone time and shopping experience, here are some of the places that’s going to make me want to go back to Causeway Bay: 1. Lei Bistro at Time Square 2. 6IXTY8IGHTY - I LOVE THEIR CLOTHES AND UNDIES!!! One of the shops that I’m definitely going to visit again on my next Hong Kong trip! :) 3. ICHIRAN - Yes, it’s the Japanese Ramen Place. Hahaha! Pero wala kasing pila masyado kaya worth mentioning. I’ve seen the line in Japan, and it’s crazy long. Dito mga 5-minute wait lang. :) 4. Island Beverly - It’s a whole building filled with quirky Asian Boutiques. The place is nice and they’re selling a lot of unique clothes and items, but they’re a bit pricey so I wasn’t able to by anything. Still, it’s a pretty interesting place to visit. :) 5. HUGE Apple Store! :) Details: Gold Sweater - H&M Army Green Park - Not Your Ordinary Clothes Black Stretch Pants - Zara White Scarf - Aeropostale Black Bag - Kate Spade Shoes: Adidas Stan Smith PHOTO: Pamela Gonzales :) #HongKong #DiscoverHongKong #CausewayBay #CausewayBae #travel #fashion #style #ootd #outfit #look #lookbook #styleblogger #personalstyle #HM #Zara #KateSpadeNY #Aeropostale #Adidas #chictopia
