Here’s an old look I’ve stored in my phone for a few months already. I still don’t have any new ootds to share because 1. I haven’t been to any occasion recently that would require me to dress up. Getting old, I get lazy to dress up most of the time. Back then I would really think my wardrobe through; now, I look in my closet and usually just choose the one that’s on top or those that are visible to my eyes. I don’t know what’s happening but rest assured, I’m gonna be throwing in a few ootds every now and then esp. since I’ve just replenished my wardrobe. Thanks to all the mall sales, I got into a little shopping craze these past few weeks. Haha! :) 2. I’m still trying to lose my holiday weight so I’d look better in the photos I’m gonna be sharing to the world. I wore this for a cute pastel/rustic themed bridal shower. I wore pants para demure naman since “mature” na tayo ngayon. Haha! But, I paired it with an off shoulder top to expose a little skin, balance the outfit and make it look more girly. Off shoulder is one of the most feminine of all the feminine tops (’coz men won’t ever be caught wearing such a thing) so it’s a nice go-to look if you’ll be attending girly stuff like baby shower, bridal shower, garden parties, tea parties, etc. :) Zara (TRF) Blush Pink Pants // Style Stunner Manila Lace Off Shoulder Top // Zalora White Pumps with Wooden Heels // Spiffy Pink Sling Bag :) Photographer: Beatrice Chan Location: The Rabbit Hole (Makati) - Super cute place that offers very affordable good food! Try their Teriyaki Chicken and Fish Parmigiana! YUM! :) The Rabbit Hole is a great venue for bridal showers and baby showers since the place itself is already cute, you don’t have to put much effort into decorating the place anymore. In our case, we rented the whole place to ourselves for 3 hours (we extended a little w/o added cost) for a consumable amount of Php10,000.00! It was the cheapest among all the places we’ve scouted and they didn’t have much terms and conditions. The staff were also friendly and they assisted us well with all our needs. :) Here are some tips if you’re preparing a bridal shower: 1. If you don’t want to go beyond the budget of Php10,000.00: - Customize your menu. Pre-pick meals that are of the same value and make your own menu sheets where guests can write their names and circle/check their food and drink choices. It’s gonna be cute, interactive and personalized. :) 2. Do your own decors. I was lucky to have very artistic friends (Janelle Ang & Sheryl Kiong!) because they just followed Youtube and Pinterest DIY decors to make the floral backdrop (see my sitting photo to get a glimpse of their amazing work!) 3. Search for at least 3 fun bridal shower games online. In our case, we did the following: - Bra Pong (It’s like Beer Pong but instead of shooting the ping pong balls in a cup, you shoot them on bras that are attached to the wall. This was fun!) - Charades (To make it different from regular charades, make the guests act out naughty works/terms. HA!) - Penis Hoopla Game (I don’t know how to explain this game. Kindly google. Haha!) #OOTD #Outfit #Style #StyleBlogger #BridalShower #BridalShowerWear #Cute #Pastel #Rustic #Look #Lookbook #LOTD #Zara #TRF #StyleStunnerManila #OffShoulder #girly #Zalora #Spiffy #PersonalStyle #TheRabbitHoleManila #TheRabbitHole
