Excited to watch another Star Wars movie while all the episodes are still fresh in my memory. I think it was late last year when Ralph and I went on a Star Wars marathon so we’d understand The Force Awakens better. After watching all 7 movies in less than 2 months, it left me with the anticipation of seeing another movie. :) And here it is! One year after the last Star Wars movie and they finally released a new one. Initially, I was hoping to see the sequel to The Force Awakens because I’m still bothered by the existence of Rey, where she came from and who her parents are... I guess I need to wait a little longer for that revelation because this year they released Star Wars: Rogue One! :) Star War: Rogue One is neither a sequel nor a prequel to the Star Wars Episodes. It’s more of a stand alone film with a whole new adventure that focuses on a group of unlikely heroes, called the Rebel Alliance, who went on a mission to steal the plans of the Death Star. Everyone who has seen the previous movies know very well that the Death Star is the enemy’s ultimate weapon of destruction. In this movie, you’ll see how regular individuals stepped up and tried to make a difference which eventually led them to become something greater. I haven’t seen the movie yet, but I’m guessing that’s how they knew which part of the gigantic weapon is necessary to aim at and bring down in order to destroy the Death Star. I’ve always wondered how they knew the insides of that beast and I thought maybe it was because they have futuristic “state of the art” scanning machine. Ha! :) SM North Edsa celebrated the arrival of Star Wars: Rogue One to the cinemas with this mural! Just like the movie, regular individuals bonded together in order to paint and create something as grand as this one! And, they invited a few villains to join the party too! Last December 10, Darth Vader, a death trooper, a bunch of stormtroopers and a bubby Justin Quirino (not a villain) was there to let mall goers know that a new Star Wars has arrived in Manila. :) SM North was generous enough to give away Star Wars merchandises to lucky passersby who are cornered by Justin to answer his Star Wars questions. If you answer it correctly, you get to take home Star Wars goodies! Saya! :) That’s me, caught off guard. I was asked who my favorite Star Wars character is and I said the name that registered first (even though she wasn’t my favorite, matapos lang ang usapan. Haha!): Princess Leia. Hahahaha! But really, it’s Padme Amidala!!!! She’s the reason why I watched Star Wars. Hahahaha! :) P.S. Hi to my friends at the back with big smiles on their faces. :D Time to go and watch the new Star Wars: Rogue One! It will be in theaters on December 15, 2016! :) Enjoy and may the Force be with you. :) #GoRoguePH #GoRogueAtSM Groufie with the Stormtrooper/Under Armour model. #StormtrooperForUnderArmour #UnderTheArmor :) Thanks for the photos, Charlene Ajose! <3 #StarWars #StarWarsPH #Disney #StarWarsRogueOne #GoRoguePH #GoRogueAtSM #RogueOne #RogueOnePH #Movie #Event #NuffnangPH #blogger #mural #DarthVader #Stormtrooper #DeathTrooper #Cosplay

I’ve been familiar with Armani for quite some time now, and I’ve known it as a brand that showcases simple, minimal but well-tailored designs. Their shop looks formal and well-polished, and so are their clientele. An Armani outfit can make anyone look sleek, stylish and not overdone. You know how fashion can consume people sometimes, and how we get all cray on the colors and patterns we wear? Armani kept true to its roots by maintaining its brand image of simple elegance, and that has proven to be a fashion trend that never went out of style. It has only been recently that I’ve learned of Armani’s expansion. From fashion clothes to perfume, now it also has an interior design service, a furniture line and some hotels. And even in this new venture, they carried with them the Armani aesthetic. They brought their expertise in warm highly comfortable sophistication to modern architecture and urban spaces as well. Just look at this high-end San Pietro all’Orto 6 apartment in Milan. It is chic, simple, well-coordinated yet still very homey. And here’s another sample of Armani/Casa’s designs, which is something I’d like to have in my future home. The neutral color hues and classic minimal design can make this space last a decade without looking outdated. :) And the first photo I shared? That perfect beauty is my favorite and that is what you’ll see at Residences by Armani Casa in Miami. If you’re curious for more, here are the other Armani/Casa’s around the globe: Armani Hotel in Dubai, Armani Macka Residences in Istanbul, Rome Townhouse and Saint Tropez Villa by Armani/Casa. And soon…. Century Spire, a 60-storey skyscraper in the main business district of Manila, is about to reveal itself with its luxe and lush interiors that are brought to us by Armani/Casa. Travel the world in style with Armani/Casa. #Armani #ArmaniCasa #Ad #Nuffnang #NuffnangPH #InteriorDesign #DesignStudio #Architecture #ModernArchitecture #Minimalist #Simple #Elegant #Sleek #Sophisticated #Hotel #Travel #Blogger
Last week, I was invited to attend an event for Urbanize PH and it was probably one of the best events I’ve ever attended. It was filled with games, activities, laughter and lots of food. There were no dull moments for that half day event and the same can be said about their products. :)
Before going there, I’ve never really heard of Urbanize so everything was new to me. It was something I really have to blog based on that day’s experience and not a history I had with the brand. Sometimes, it can be difficult because how can you say much about an item/brand/store if you barely even know it. This, however, was different. I guess the activities helped us a lot to know the brand and its products better since all the games were very interactive and highly experiential. Even the talk of Mr. Francis Kong during the event says a lot about how Urbanize aims to be of help to the Urban community physically, mentally and emotionally. :) Before anything else, here’s a quick idea of what Urbanize is all about and what went down during that crazy fun event.
Urbanize is a one-stop shop for the highly mobile lifestyle of today’s city dwellers (a.k.a. Urbanites). Correct me if I’m wrong, but the fast moving world today requires much from its people. Multi-tasking and going through the struggle of facing traffic and commuting are some the things that Urbanites face regularly. This is exactly what inspired Urbanize to create a store that’s fashionable, stylish, safe yet very much functional because they want to make Urban life easier for the people. :)
Aside form its own brand of products, Urbanize also carries a variety of impressive international brands that offers “organization” such as Pinqponq, Focused Space, Tech Protection of STM and Security Bags of Pacsafe. They also have in store the minimalist women’s bag, Sherpani and the world’s thinnest wallet from Allet. :)
For the techies, Urbanize carries Japan’s No. 1 brand on Mobile Peripherals, Elecom while travellers can find joy with the innovative hydration gear, Hydrapak, that sells collapsible water bottle with no-leak guarantee (My favorite! Will talk more about this later!). Office people can now keep their keyboards and laptops safe from coffee/water/tea/juice spills because Urbanize now carries Artiart’s Suction Mug, a mug that does not fall or get bumped off easily!
Yes! Cute, stylish and functional indeed. :)
The HYDRAPAK! I am so amazed by this product! :)
It’s a collapsible water bottle that can easily be stored in your bags. (See photo above to get an idea on how it works. Hehe!) But, that’s not the only thing that makes this so special! :)
One of the activities for that day was to make a Boomerang video using the Hydrapak or the Suction Mug. :)
This is the boomerang video of the Hydrapak falling from the 3rd floor to the 2nd floor of Uptown Mall BGC! AMAZING! It just bounced with zero damages. :) I was the one who dropped it from the 3rd floor, and my heart was falling with it when I first tried it (We did it twice, okay. Hahaha! NO LEAK! DIDN’T BURST!) The second try was “chill” na since I was already confident that I wouldn’t break it. Hahaha! :) Video taken by: Ana Gonzales Support Group: Marga Banaga & Joana Carrasco :)
Tried the Artiart Suction Mug on my bed table since this is probably one of the worst places I can put my mug on. If this baby falls and the water spills, I'm going to end up with a wet laptop and bed. :)
Kapit lang kapatid. Hahaha! :)
I've tried the suction mug on different surfaces and I've noticed that it sticks to glass the most. :) [A glimpse of my super pink and girly bed/room. Hahaha! I've had this room since I was 7 and I'm too kuripot to change the interior even though my mind is already picturing a whole different dream room. LOL. Anyway, you guys are going to be seeing more of this on my vlogs so you have to get used to this girly-ness. Haha!]
The Urbanize bags makes helps Urbanites to organize with its functional pockets. :) I hate it when I have to take out all the things inside my bag just because I couldn't find my power bank; it's hassle and messy at the same time. :) So aside from the design and size, one of the things that I usually check whenever I get myself a bag is its pockets. Having numerous pockets help the inside of the bag look more organized and it's easier for people to find their stuff as well. :)
And because they're really promoting this about their bag, they used it as one of the games for the event. [Sorry, I wasn't able to take a photo of the flay lay we made so I'm just going to explain the whole thing. Haha!] We were given quite a number of stuff: backpack, power bank, speaker, pens, notebooks, wallet, selfie stick and more. For the first game, we were asked to take best flat lay of all the things provided to us. Second, we have to fit everything into the backpack and the group that has kept all the things in the most organized way, wins! Of course, with Urbanize bags' number of pockets it was easy for us to organize and fit everything inside the bag. :)
These pockets are made for power banks and external hard drives. Look how perfectly both my gadgets fit into the pockets of my Urbanize bag. :)
In a city with quite a number of pickpockets, security and safety of our valuables is also very important. I usually don't use backpacks whenever I go out because I think it's easier for the pickpockets to get stuff from my bag without being noticed since they'll be getting them from the back and we have no eyes at the back of our heads. And, backpacks are usually bigger and bulkier than sling bags so it's also harder to feel it if someone's opening it. :)
With this Urbanize bag, they've put a safe zip pocket at the back where you can put your money, phone, cards and other valuables. This will eliminate your fear of traveling/commuting using a backpack (its the easiest bag to bring around but the riskiest too) because all your important stuff are safely secured. :)
I'm very thankful & happy that I got to take home this particular bag because it's minimalist, clean and stylish yet very functional. It's also my first ever laptop bag (huhu); I can finally easily and securely take my laptop with me wherever I want. :)
Thank you so much Nuffnang & Urbanize PH for organizing such a fun event. And, thank you to my teammates: Ana Gonzales, Marga Banaga & Joana Carrasco for being so creative and amazing! You guys are the best! :) For more details, visit: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/urbanizeph/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/urbanizeph/
