1. Clean Your Own Nails At Home It’s easy especially if you get used to it already. Para ka nalang naliligo. Haha! All you need is to get your own nail kit, which contains the following: nail cutter, clipper, nail pusher, cuticle remover, cuticle sanitizer and a small nail brush for the sanitizer. Getting your own nail kit may sound expensive because the cost of buying one may be equivalent to around 3 trips to the salon but that thing can last and be used for decades. So, mas mura siya lalabas in the long run. :) 2. Cut Your Hair Short You may not take this seriously but shorter hair requires less shampoo and conditioner. True? - I know I don’t have short hair, but that’s because I’m really growing my hair for a reason. :) 3. Look For An Affordable Hair Dresser For the longest time, I’ve been going from one salon to another trying to find the best person who can cut my hair. For some reason, a lot of the salons I’ve been to give me a very dull and lifeless haircut. There are some that did quite well, but they were expensive! It wasn’t until college that I met the one who can cut my hair so well yet still fit my poor student budget. Haha! Now, I’m a regular and I never even thought of looking for another one. :) Wonder which salon I ended up with? RICKY REYES! You can get a decent haircut there for only Php200! :) I go to their Greenhills branch and I always look for Ogie! :) 4. Look For A Nearby Seamstress If you’re eyeing on some clothes that are too expensive and beyond your budget, here’s what you can do: a) Take a photo of the item you want. Make sure to take a good photo of the details too! :) b) Search for a fabric that’s similar or at least very close to the one you like. [I always go to Fabric Warehouse in SM Malls for this. If you have time and you live nearby maybe you can also check out Ilaya in Divisoria; they have a lot of fabric selections and they’re selling them at a cheaper price too!] c) Ask a nearby local seamstress to have the outfit made for you. Doing this would cost you less and it will fit you better too! :) AND, you can also rely on the same seamstress to do alterations for you instead of having to go to expensive alteration shops in the mall. YESSS! :) ‘Til our next Tipid Tips session guys! Go start saving money! :* #TipidTips #Tips #LifeHacks #Save #HowToSave #SaveMoney #Blogger #SavingTips #HowToBeAKuripot
