I never attempted to colored my hair before because I’m scared. I’m scared of ruining my hair and drying it out. I’m also scared of possible allergies since I’ve heard stories of people getting allergies from hair dyes. :) But, as our president says: change is coming. Haha! So, here I am sharing my first hair color experience. Everything about this post is a first. It’s my first time to dye my hair, it’s my first time to use this brand. And, it my first time to color my hair at home. Good luck naman sakin. Haha! :)
I already introduced you guys to Zumba last time, and I shared some of the easy-to-follow dance workouts. Now if you’re already willing to take the next step, here are my second batch of Zumba videos that are a bit faster and little more tiring than the initial set that I shared. :)
Enjoy, stay fit and be healthy! :)

Why go to the gym if you can lose weight at home? Going to the gym can be very expensive! If you want to stay fit, run or go cycling outside instead of using a treadmill. If you’re lazy like me, try following Youtube zumba dances at home! Since we’re just starting here, I’m just gonna share a compilation of some of my favorite MILD zumba dances first na pwedeng gawin kahit ni nanay! :)
Hula Hoop is my mom’s favorite. Hahaha! Your mom’s might like this too! Best choice if you want to shake your belly fats away! :D
Enjoy, stay fit and be healthy! :)

1. Hoard essentials when they are on sale! If you use an item regularly, I suggest you get a bunch of it already when it’s on sale. If possible, wait for the next sale until you get your next batch of stocks. :) Example: I buy my contact lenses every December when Ideal Vision is on sale. They have a usual Christmas Promo/SM 3-Day Sale wherein I get my contact lenses at a discounted rate. Not only was I able to buy them at a cheaper price, it would also save me the time, transpo and effort of going back to the mall every time I’m in need of a new one. :) 2. DIY Hair Color If you’re not going for a multi colored hair or ombre styled hair, I suggest you do the coloring by yourself, at the comfort of your homes. These are already a lot of easy to apply hair colors in the market, which ranges at a price of Php500 - Php 700 only compared to a salon hair color of Php 3,000 and above! :) P.S. Try not to go any lower than Php500 when you buy your hair dye. Those cheap hair coloring sounds sketchy. I’d rather pay a little more than lose my hair and have bald spots because of untested products. :) 3. Exercise At Home! A lot of gym equipments are equivalent to the amount you’re paying for gym membership. Why not get your own and put them at home so you can use and enjoy them forever and not just for 1 year? :) I’ve never tried going to the gym buy I get by just by using whatever exercise equipment/materials we have at home. You can even get or download exercise DVDs that you can follow if you want. There are also apps that can provide you with exercise routines such as the Nike Training Club (NTC). Out of all the home exercises I’ve tried, Zumba is the easiest and the most enjoyable one for me. :) Just search for Zumba lessons on youtube and copy whatever it is that they’re doing and you’re all good! :) Getting fit doesn’t have to cost you so much and the more you can do by yourself, the cheaper it will cost you. :) In my next few Quick Tips (QTips) blog post, I’ll be sharing some of the Zumba dance videos I follow at home! :) #TipidTips #HowToBeAKuripot #Tips #HowToSave #Kuripoint #Saving #SaveMoney #Save #Blogger #Advice #LifeAdvice #SavingTips
1. Clean Your Own Nails At Home It’s easy especially if you get used to it already. Para ka nalang naliligo. Haha! All you need is to get your own nail kit, which contains the following: nail cutter, clipper, nail pusher, cuticle remover, cuticle sanitizer and a small nail brush for the sanitizer. Getting your own nail kit may sound expensive because the cost of buying one may be equivalent to around 3 trips to the salon but that thing can last and be used for decades. So, mas mura siya lalabas in the long run. :) 2. Cut Your Hair Short You may not take this seriously but shorter hair requires less shampoo and conditioner. True? - I know I don’t have short hair, but that’s because I’m really growing my hair for a reason. :) 3. Look For An Affordable Hair Dresser For the longest time, I’ve been going from one salon to another trying to find the best person who can cut my hair. For some reason, a lot of the salons I’ve been to give me a very dull and lifeless haircut. There are some that did quite well, but they were expensive! It wasn’t until college that I met the one who can cut my hair so well yet still fit my poor student budget. Haha! Now, I’m a regular and I never even thought of looking for another one. :) Wonder which salon I ended up with? RICKY REYES! You can get a decent haircut there for only Php200! :) I go to their Greenhills branch and I always look for Ogie! :) 4. Look For A Nearby Seamstress If you’re eyeing on some clothes that are too expensive and beyond your budget, here’s what you can do: a) Take a photo of the item you want. Make sure to take a good photo of the details too! :) b) Search for a fabric that’s similar or at least very close to the one you like. [I always go to Fabric Warehouse in SM Malls for this. If you have time and you live nearby maybe you can also check out Ilaya in Divisoria; they have a lot of fabric selections and they’re selling them at a cheaper price too!] c) Ask a nearby local seamstress to have the outfit made for you. Doing this would cost you less and it will fit you better too! :) AND, you can also rely on the same seamstress to do alterations for you instead of having to go to expensive alteration shops in the mall. YESSS! :) ‘Til our next Tipid Tips session guys! Go start saving money! :* #TipidTips #Tips #LifeHacks #Save #HowToSave #SaveMoney #Blogger #SavingTips #HowToBeAKuripot
For Php1,000 nowadays, how much and how many can you really buy? I was challenged when I browsed through Shopee's numerous choices! Name it, they probably have it. From clothes to shoes, bags, accessories, baby stuff, gadgets, etc! :) At first, I thought it would be impossible to buy a lot for the said amount but my budget of Php1,000 was enough to get me all the things I posted above! They weren't even on sale! :) Here are some of the tips that might help you on your next Shopee adventure: 1. Browse all the possible options. They are so many sellers on Shopee and some of them are selling similar stuff; make sure you find the one that sells the item at the lowest price. :) 2. Make use of their FREE DELIVERY services. Not all their sellers offer free delivery so make sure you consider that before you click "BUY". Each shop requires the customer to get a minimum of Php250.00 to avail their free delivery service. - I don't think that would be much of a problem since you'd most likely reach that amount in a single shop. :) 3. Always be on the look out for those nice affordable stuff! For instance, I got these cute pastel bags for only Php250.00 from SpiffyPH! I was lucky to find them because my small sling bag was already in need of replacement. :) #Shopee #ShopeePH #ShopeeApp #Shopping #OnlineShopping #ShoppingOnABudget #Tips #QuickTips #ShoppingTips #blogger
Being in a long term relationship means you’ve been together for so long that you’re starting to run out of unique things to do that dates are starting to become a routine. It’s not a bad thing and it doesn’t mean that the love is dwindling. Think of it as a preparation to married life because when you guys tie the knot everyday is gonna be a routine. So in order to continuously go on dates without breaking your bank accounts, these are the things that you guys might be interested in: 1. Identify each other's interest and support them in what they like to do. It's gonna be an activity for both of you. For instance, girls can watch their boyfriend's basketball or soccer games. That's not gonna cost much but your boys will be very happy about it. 2. Instead of regularly watching in the movie house, which is so expensive now by the way. Watch series and movies that you both enjoy at the comfort of your homes. Try niyo rin mag-marathon kasi for sure kulang ang one year sa lahat ng gusto niyong panoorin. That will keep both of you occupied while having fun at the same time. Ralph and I usually watch on iFlix, I know I've been promoting it before but this post has nothing to do with it. It has just been very helpful to us ever since I was given an account. It's only Php129 a month compared to a Php200 movie ticket of one person. :) 3. Discover new hole in the wall and unique restaurants/food together. There are lot of restaurants popping up everywhere that's good but inexpensive. The experience of discovering new food together is fun, and you get to share your discoveries to your friends too! [Bida kayo sa viber groups niyo pag ganun dahil may bago kayong input. Haha!] 4. Exercise together. There are a lot of ways to burn calories that would cost you little to zero amount. Jog around your village, follow youtube's zumba videos, play badminton or shoot baskets in the park. If your village or subdivision's club houses have a pool then you are lucky because you can go swimming too! 5. Play video games together. You won't have to go out of the the house for this and it can last you guys the whole day kung competitive much kayo. :) Malas lang ni Ralph di ako gamer at zero yung skills ko sa NBA 2k kaya di namin magawa to. Haha! Thought of sharing this because dates don't have to be expensive. More than anything else, it's the company of the person you're with and the feeling of having him/her beside you is really what's more important. :) #Dating #DatingOnABudget #LongTermRelationship #Couple #WhatCouplesDo #WhatToDo #Relationship #RelationshipTips #Love
This is not a sponsored post, but I was recently urged by Third Love to explore common bra problems. They shared a graphic on bra-blems and a 15% promo code for the blog. So I thought... why not share? I have nothing to gain, I also have nothing to lose, but I get to share these tips to my readers. :) I thought of sharing it to all because I've also been having "bra-blems" of my own. If this can help me, I was hoping that it could help others as well. :) In my case, the common ones I encounter are: Slipping Straps & Band Riding Up! What's yours? :) If you guys are also interested in Third Love's bras, here's a promo code they shared to avail 15% off on all orders from their site: BRABLEMS :) XOXO #Bra #Intimates #BraProblems #Brablems #Witty #Tips #QuickTips #SelfHelp #Undies
I’m not the type of person who splurges so much on shopping. It may not seem like it considering that I see shopping as a therapy, but there are so many ways to get to take home so much without having to empty your wallets. :) So, I’m gonna share my shopping tips! :) 1. Always be on the look out for SALE! There’s mid-season sale, end of season sale, Christmas sale and even Black Friday sale is being adapted here in the Philippines. During SALE, you get to buy the items that you used to eye on at a much lower price! :) a. If there’s an item on sale that you like and it’s already the last piece, TAKE IT! You might regret not buying it especially if the price is already really low. :) b. If the item on sale has a lot of stock, you might want to wait until the end of sale before you get it since prices are sometimes slashed even lower by the end of the sale. For instance, there’s FOREVER 21′s BOGO sale, which I LOVE! Sometimes, I get to take home 2 items of clothing from F21 for just Php400! :) P.S. Not because it’s on sale it doesn’t mean it’s out-dated, hindi na “in” and hindi na “uso”. It’s how you’re gonna style it and how you’re gonna carry yourself while wearing it that’s gonna matter most. :) 2. Try searching for “dupes” in online/instagram stores first. If you like clothes from mall brands like Zara, Forever 21, H&M, Bershka, Stradivarius, Topshop, Cotton On & River Island, try searching for “dupes” in online/instagram stores first. For instance, I’ve always liked to get a denim skirt like this one. They’re all being sold at over Php1,200 in brands like Forever 21, H&M, Zara & Cotton On. I didn’t think it was reasonable so I searched on instgram fist. I typed the hashtag #denimskirt & #denimskirtph and guess where it got me! I found an online seller that only sells the denim skirt for only Php350.00! I was able to save Php850.00 by not impulsively buying the denim skirt even though I like it so much. :) 3. NO TO IMPULSE BUYING. You have to be very mindful of your expenses and your savings. Before buying something: a. You have to think if you need it. b. Think if you can maximize the item based on its price tag. Example, it’s ok to buy a nice pair shoes worth Php3,000.00 if you’re gonna be wearing it everyday. In the long run, the quality and length of service of your shoes would make up for the Php3,000.00 you spent. Another example is, how many times and how many ways can you wear a skirt worth Php650.00? If you’d be able to wear it more than 3 times in a month and can pair it with almost any type of top then maybe it’s worth it. :) 4. Always Scout For The Best Buy Just like looking for dupes, before you decide on buying something, try to go around the mall first and check all the possible stores and even online stores to canvass the price before you get it! Make sure it’s the best deal you can get. This will save you from possible regrets when you see the “better deal” in the future. :D And by going around all the other stores and searching online stores first, there is a possibility that you’d find something that you’ll like better. These new finds might even be more useful and could be cheaper than your first option. :) 4, Use Credit Card when shopping! Credit card points can be surprisingly good. a. There are credit card points that can be used for shopping. (ex. BDO & Chinabank Credit Card points can be converted to SM Advantage points that can be used at SM affiliated stores like SM Department Store, Ace Hardware, Forever 21, Watsons and many more!) b. There are credit card points that can be used to get MILES! (ex. AUB Credit Card points can be converted to PAL Miles, which you can use when you book your next travel!) c. There are also credit card promos that gets you to win gift certificates, free meals or sodexo when you buy a minimum if XXXX amount. You can use those promos to to save on your future purchases. :) P.S. Only buy what you can pay for. I don’t advise using credit card just for the sake of being able to purchase the items you like without having to think about how you’re gonna pay for all of them when the bills arrive. Credit card interests are painfully expensive so be careful. :) #Shopping #ShoppingTips #Savings #SavingTips #Sale #Dupes #CreditCard #Tips #Save
