It’s been a while since I’ve shared about my life. If you haven’t noticed my past few blog posts are just about product reviews even though ever since, I have considered my blog as an avenue to share about life, in general.
To be honest, I have lost my interest in blogging for more than a year now. I don’t post as often as I used to even though I get projects more often now than before (I find this weird actually. Haha!). Instead of blogging, I have used that time to find myself… The funny thing is, I still haven’t completely figured things out yet until now. Life is very tricky. There are A LOT of times that I feel lost and there are also moments when I seek answers for so many unanswered questions. But, here’s my takeaway from those experiences and my advice to those who have gone through the same. 1. LOVE YOURSELF. If there’s anyone out there who knows you best, it’s you. You’re the only one who can truly know how amazing you are. You’re the only one who truly knows your worth and what you are capable of. If you start embracing that fact, it will shine through you. :) In line with this, focus on improving yourself. Keep yourself busy with things that will help you grow as a person. By being so successful and accomplished in life, you’ll realize that you are happy even on your own. Having someone to be with is just an added bonus because you already feel complete even when you’re alone. Do the things that will make you happy. Don’t bother yourself too much with what other people think because the people who are meant to be a part of your life will love you for who you are and despite of what you can never become. 2. Learn from your mistakes. Everyday is an opportunity for you to become a better version of yourself. 3. Surround yourself with people who won’t make you doubt/question yourself. *** Another thing.. This is unrelated to my life realizations, but you can learn something from it. My friend, Tohid, posted this on his instagram stories: “How we choose to react to any situation, positive or negative, determines how we experience that situation in our lives. Nothing was built in meaning. We give meaning to everything that happens to us.” – Nice diba? Our lives become what we make out of it. :)
