If you missed the first run of Ballet Manila’s Rebel: EDSA 30, you’re in luck. Because for it’s upcoming performance season, the country’s premier ballter company is re-staging this well-loved piece that had the critics raving when it first debuted back in February 2016. Rebel is a symbolic re-telling of the events that transpired during the 1986 EDSA Revolution. It is also the brainchild of Ballet Manila’s CEO and Artistic Director Lisa Macuja-Elizalde and renowned British choreographer Martin Lawrance. It will feature internationally acclaimed theater artist Joanna Ampil as the voice of Inang Bayan for all performances, with live music courtesy of the ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Gerard Salonga on August 19, 20, and 21. Prima Ballerina Lisa Macuja-Elizalde will also come out of semi-retirement to perform as Inang Bayan on the opening weekend. Balet Manila’s Rebel: EDSA 30 runs on August 19, 20 and 27, 8:00PM, and August 21 and 28, 3:00PM at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City. :) #Rebel #EDSA30 #RebelEDSA30 #BalletManila #ballet #dance #performance #art #ARCPR #ad

At first I was skeptical to buying electronic brands from China thinking that they would easily break since the “Made in China” mentality of having poor quality was stuck in my head. But, ever since I got my first Huawei gadget (a pocket wifi), my mind changed. I’ve been using it regularly for 1 year already and it never failed me. It works perfectly well, the battery lasts long and even though I’ve already dropped it a couple of times, it is still doing just as fine as when I first got it. Honestly, I was surprised and impressed at the same time. It was really beyond what I expected. Huawei was the brand that made me think differently of Chinese brands. :) And when I received this Huawei P9, I was beyod happy. The package alone was enough to make me giggle with excitement. It’s simple, clean, polished, organized and sophisticated. And, I’m in love with the color too! I’m a huge fan of gold so this is perfect! :) Check out the super OC arrangement of the charger, cords, earphone, case and manual! Sobrang saya lang niya buksan. Hahaha! :) It comes with its own case and screen protector too. No need to rush into buying a case for your phone after purchase because it’s already provided to you by Huawei. Good move! :) I remember when I first got my iphone, I was so scared to harm it that I went to nearest store just to get a cover to keep it protected. Medyo hassle, diba? I guess that’s one of the reasons why I’m this passionate about sharing Huawei’s provided case (kahit na simple clear case lang siya) because it’s very convenient for the consumer. :) Swipe up and down to switch between professional mode and standard mode. WHATTT! Professional mode!!!! Level level level up! I tried it out and I’m happy to share the Professional mode means being able to manually adjust everything like a dslr/mirrorless camera. You can adjust the focus, the exposure the ISO, etc! :) Very cool! I can’t wait to try it! :) Swipe left to show the settings menu. Here you can pre-adjust the brightness, color, etc… before you take the actual picture. Very cool. It’s like tweaking with the manual mode of a dslr! :) Swipe right to select a camera mode. There’s beauty, monochrome, video, beauty video and so much more. :) My favorite, of course, is the beauty mode. Hahaha! It makes you look prettier and more flawless! With the beauty mode, there isn’t much need for filters and edits anymore. Haha! :) #Huawei #HuaweiP9 #LeicaCamera #NewGadget #Gadget #Electronics #Phone #Cellphone #Technology #Techie #Gold #blogger #initialreview #NuffnangPH #sponsored
I know Balay Dako has been in the scene for a while so I really have nothing new to offer here. Haha! I’ve always wanted to go there after I’ve seen the place on some people’s posts and the movie “Everything About Her” Hahaha! So, I made sure I had my camera with me when I learned that my family & I are gonna have lunch there. :) The place did not disappoint! It’s so pretty that every corner is picture perfect! Great architecture and design! It’s simple and rustic. It looks unfinished pero maganda parin. Haha! :) And, it has the perfect view of Taal Volcano! :) The food, however, was not what I expected. Considering how much I love Antonio’s, the food here is just okay. It’s nothing special and not something I’m going to be craving for. :) Among all the dishes we ordered (Tapa Flakes, Sisig Na Pusit, Pinakbet, Pancit Ni Antonio and Lechon), the Sizzling Bulalo na Baka was the only one I liked. :) TIP: Go there when they just finished their breakfast buffet (that's at around 11:30 am, I think?). During that time, they're not letting anyone dine at their second floor because they're still cleaning up. It's the perfect time to take pictures because the place is almost deserted! :) #BalayDako #BeautifulPlaces #View #Tagaytay #TaalVolcano #Architecture #Design #food #SizzlingBulalo #Philippines #OnlyInThePhilippines #Blog
