Rosy cheeks can make a pale face look blooming. I don’t usually use blush before, but when I saw the difference it made on someone else’s naturally powdered face, I knew it would be my new go-to makeup product for my lazy days. :) Here are my blush choices: 1. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blush in Pure 22 I’ve been using this for over 2 years now and it’s my favorite because it’s light so it’s looks very natural on the skin. And since it’s light when applied, it’s easier to control the darkness/lightness of the blush’s color on your face. It might take a few dabs and brush strokes to achieve your desired cheek color though, and that’s one thing I don’t like about it because it gets used up so fast. :( I love the different shades of the blush too. The natural rosy cheek color is achieved when all that is blended together. However, just like how rosy cheeks can be gone when you’re all relaxed and cooled down, Neutrogena’s blush also looses it’s color after some time so you may have to re-touch at least once a day to keep your cheeks bright and pink. :) 2. Clinque Chubby Stick - Cheek Colour Balm in 03 Roly Poly Rosy I got this for free so I’m using it, but I don’t think I’m going to get one for myself considering how pricey Clinique can be. :D This chubby stick is like a big lipstick that’s less moist and with a powdery finish. It’s nice to use because it looks very natural too, but it’s harder to blend because once you’ve glided it through your face you have to rub it quickly before the color really sticks on your face. If you fail to do so, you might end up with uneven cheeks. Hahaha! :) What I do like about it though is that it lasts long, has a nice rosy color and it looks very natural. :) 3. BYS Contour Trio in 02 Sweet I was desperate to get a new blush because my Neutrogena was running out fast so I got this from my friend Phylicia when she sold this at a bazaar. [The Neutrogena blush in the picture above was from my mom. Apparently, she has an extra blush so she gave it to me when she learned that mine’s almost out. Haha!] I don’t know how much this BYS Contour Trio really costs in the department store but I got this from Phya for only Php200, which is not bad at all. :) The color is more orange-y than my preferred pink-ish tone, but it was alright. It’s good enough if you just aim to put some color on your cheeks. It’s powdery so it’s easier to control the color when applying it on the face so aside from it’s color, I’m quite happy with this buy. :) 4. Wet N Wild Blush in 832E Heather Silk Soie Chinee And since the Neutrogena Blush I’m using is not sold here in the Philippines, I tried to look for a blush alternative in case I don’t get my hands on a Neutrogena blush anytime soon. :) I searched online for a nice cheap one and found this! :) It’s one of TOTALBEAUTY.COM’s top-rated blush and it’s cheaper than Neutrogena too! It’s about $8 dollars cheaper so why not! In my mind I was thinking: “If I so happened liked this blush, it would be cheaper and more accessible because it’s being sold at PCX in Rockwell.” :D After trying it…. I’m not quite sure if I’m gonna get it again. Haha! It’s highly pigmented so one dab can go a long way but it’s hard to spread on the cheeks. Once you put it on your face, the color already stays on the spot where you placed it, thus making little room for adjustments. Hahaha! I ended up putting powder over it just to tone it down a little bit. :) And, don’t use the brush that goes with the blush, it’s stiff so it can’t really spread the blush powder on your face and it smells quite bad. :D #Blush #BlushOn #RosyCheeks #MakeUp #Cosmetics #Beauty #Blogger #Reviews #WetNWild #Neutrogena #Clinique #ChubbyCheeks #BYS #Cheeks #CheekColor #Philippines #MakeUpReview

Hi, everyone! I made a page dedicated to beauty, skin care & cosmetics because I get more questions about it than fashion & styling. Haha! Now it will be easier for my readers to find my makeup related posts. :) Archives
